Bonjour, j'ai déposé un casque audio dont l'une des petites enceintes à l'intérieur s'est détachée suite a une chute. Déposé vendredi, il l'a ouvert devant moi, a vite répérer le problème, m'a proposé un devis de 50e qu'il m'a fait payer immédiatement et m'a dit de revenir le récupérer mardi. Je me présente mardi, et cette même personne prétend ne pas me reconnaître et n'avoir jamais eu entre les mains un tel casque. Autre point il ne m'avait donné aucun documents. En gros je me suis fais carotte un casque endommagé et 50 balles. Devrais-je aller porter plainte ? Même si n'ayant aucune preuve de mon depot ? Ai-je la moindre chance d'avoir gain de cause ? Cette potentielle arnaque trottait dans ma tête quand il m'a demandé de payer avant le service et que je suis sorti du magasin sans même une facture, mais je m'attendais pas réellement à ce que ça arrive, je suis abasourdi.

This month's evo, the evo electro dragon, was released in October. Last month's evo (evo pekka) was released in September. December's evo (goblin cage) was release in August. If this pattern continues we'll see either musketeer or cannon evo in the shop next season.

Hi everyone, I have an accepted offer on a £240,000 property in the UK, and I recently found out that I might have to pay the SDLT surcharge because I co-own an inherited property in Italy with my mum and sister, which we inherited from my dad when he passed away. I have never purchased a home before, so I assumed I would qualify as a First-Time Buyer. However, I recently read that if you own any property worldwide, you might be liable for the higher rate SDLT surcharge. From what I understand, to be liable for the higher rate, the value of the property you own abroad must be greater than £40,000. My main question is: • Since I only own a third of the property in Italy, does the £40,000 threshold apply to my share only (i.e., does HMRC assess just my portion of the house’s value)? • Who should I speak to for accurate advice? Should I ask my solicitor now, or could this cause delays in my purchase? I’d really appreciate any advice from anyone who has been in a similar situation or knows how this works. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I’m looking for career path ideas outside the oilfield and could really use some advice. I’ve spent the last seven years working in the industry, with: 2 years on service rigs 2 years in wireline 3 years as a coil tubing operator (operating and hauling a masted coil tubing rig) I currently make $150K/year, so I know I may need to take an initial pay cut, but I’d like to transition into something with strong earning potential. I have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills. Outside of work, I’m really interested in computers, CAD, 3D printing, and tinkering with tech. I’d love to build a career in a field that aligns with these interests. Some areas I’ve considered: Cybersecurity (SOC analyst, ethical hacking, etc.) Cloud computing / IT infrastructure CAD design / 3D modeling Software development (though I don’t have coding experience yet) Something else tech-related that fits my hands-on/mechanical background Has anyone here made a similar transition? What tech careers would be a good fit for someone with my skills? Any advice on training, certifications, or the best way to get started? Appreciate any insights!
